The 2012 CVA Convention, May 4th, 5th, and 6th
The South Bay Striders is happy to announce that they will be hosting the 2012 CVA Convention at the beautiful Asilomar Conference Center. This fully-contained conference center is located within minutes of many world-famous points of interest on the Monterey Peninsula. This will be the state walking convention of a lifetime! Don't miss it!
The conference center offers attendees the convenience of a single start point for all the walks, full board accommodations (the room price including meals), onsite meeting rooms, a picturesque setting, and a gift shop for those who need a little retail therapy. All located next to the beach for a moonlight stroll at the end of the day.

Wonderful News!!
Lots of people have signed up early, in fact many more than we anticipated. This causes two good things. Asilomar will hold the 2011 pricing for us, and they will open up more rooms for our group. So if you were wondering if there is space for you, the answer is YES. The deadline for signups is now extended to Friday, March 16th if you pay by credit card. If you pay by check, the check must be in the treasurers hands by that date. Allow at least 5 full days for your letter to arrive. (Twain Harte is a small town in the Sierras).
